PHE is currently commercializing patent-pending technology that provides a step-change improvement in the cost of producing biodiesel.  By overcoming the serious limitations of the current biodiesel catalysts, PHE technology creates a significant financial advantage over current production methods.  These advantages come from reducing waste, greatly improving the purity (and value) of the glycerin byproduct, and simplifying the process (reducing capital cost).  The PHE technology is able to process the lowest grades of waste and recycled oils or greases.  Further, it can do so on a relatively small scale so that plants can be located in closer proximity to both feedstocks and biodiesel customers.
